It is with the greatest of honour and regard that Lawrence and Priscilla were invited to helm the finale act of Chingay Singapore Parade 2009. Together with a 300-strong performing contingent of dancers, magicians and actor-acrobats, father-and-daughter duo presented MAGICBOX to close the annual Chingay parade, the largest and grandest street Mardi Gras to be staged in Asia.
‘King of the Magic World’, Lawrence, made his grand entrance on a ‘unicorn’ before brandishing ‘Princess of the Magic World’, Priscilla, out of thin air within a cage suspended in mid air. Following that, a heightened sense of thrill and excitement ricocheted throughout the grand final 'The Banquet' as they took centre stage with Priscilla’s fearless ‘Torch Box Illusion’ and Lawrence’s first-ever unrivalled ‘Burning Man’ act.
Never before seen or performed in the whole of Asia (until now that is), 'The Burning Man' is a truly remarkable, first-class illusion that has thrilled, amazed, dumbfounded and even frightened the audience. This is truly a feat that only a master can muster. It’s entertainment that’s pure and classy!
