MAGICBOX BAGS TOP AWARDS AT THE CHINGAY PARADE 2009!

Good news - MAGICBOX@Chingay has won two top awards, “Best in Float Design and Presentation” and the “Chingay Champion Of The Year”, for its outstanding grand finale performance at the Chingay Parade Singapore 2009!

These awards, organised by the People’s Association, were presented at the Chingay Awards Presentation Ceremony 2009-cum-Appreciation Night on the 3rd of March at the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) Building. To win the “Best In Float Design And Presentation” Award, MAGICBOX @ The Banquet triumphed over 13 other floats featured in the parade. And in the “Chingay Champion Of The Year” Award category, the MAGICBOX contingent came out tops amongst the 22 groups in the competition, winning the judges over with their spectacular costumes and high-energy performances.

The first award was presented by Mr Chang Long Jong, Deputy Group CEO of MediaCorp TV, while the second accolade was presented by Guest of Honour, Mr Lim Boon Heng, Minister for Prime Minister’s Office.
